Originally from Canada, Margaret Coe settled in New Zealand over 25 years ago. Until recently she worked as a scientist at the Liggins Research Institute, developing analytical methods for mixtures using chromatography-mass spectrometry. Now that she’s retired, she donates much of her time to helping several volunteer organisations, including the NZARH.
Margaret has a wide range of interests, and is a member of many groups including Forest & Bird, Greenpeace, Amnesty International and the Metabolomics Society. She enjoys gardening, making music, sewing, and spends her free time playing with her gorgeous grandchildren.
