Mark has been a member of the NZARH Council for the past decade, as well as being involved with both the New Zealand Skeptics and the Humanist Society of NZ. As well as being the NZ Skeptics’ Secretary, he can be heard every fortnight on their podcast, Yeah… Nah!, and is also the Editor of their newsletter.

For a day job, Mark works for a telecommunications company as a developer, writing software and providing technical support. This is probably why he finds himself doing most of the IT work for the groups he volunteers for, including the NZARH!

In his spare time Mark likes to geek out by watching Sci Fi, picking locks, coding, spending time with his family and visiting as many weird, “spiritual”, pseudoscientific events as he can manage, including Creationist talks, occult meetings, ghost hunts, evangelical Christian sermons and much, much more.
