The International Humanist Conference 2025 will be held at d’Coque (Centre National Sportif et Culturel) in Luxembourg-City, the capital of Luxembourg in the heart of Europe, from 4th July to 6th July 2025.
On Friday, 4th July, we will host a meeting of Humanists International’s European Policy Forum. In the evening, we will organize a social night event. More details to be revealed soon.
On Saturday, 5th July, we will hold this year’s International Humanist Conference on the topic “From Awareness to Action: Strengthening Open Societies through Scientific Literacy”. We will explore why the lack of scientific literacy in the general public poses a threat to open societies and how we can promote scientific literacy in order to empower individuals, to shape rational public policy, and to fortify democratic values. Together, we will examine the vital role of scientific literacy in navigating global challenges and fostering resilient, open societies. Be part of the conversation that drives change from awareness to action. In the evening we will organise a Gala Dinner at La Table du Belvédère.
On Sunday, 6th July will conclude with the annual General Assembly of Humanists International, where, among other things, a new president will be elected, since the current president, Andrew Copson, will step down from this position. Please go to our event page to register for the main conference and gala dinner. The detailed conference programme and the list of speakers will be announced as soon as possible. We will provide our international attendees an official invitation letter to support their visa application, if necessary, and after a vetting process that we will coordinate with Humanists International. Please send us a message and we will get back to you. We do offer reimbursement in case there is any trouble with the vetting or the visa application process. See our conditions for reimbursement on our eventbrite page.
